Porter, In- The United States Department of Federal Highways will close County Line Road Bridge in Miller to traffic early Thursday morning June 2 and will remain closed until early Sunday morning June 5, 2011.

The closure will allow crews to work on construction of the bridge on County Line Road. Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s West Beach will remain open. Plans for construction were to avoid weekend closures, but delays caused by the unusually rainy spring have made this closure necessary to complete the project on time. During the closure there will be signs posted for detours. Please use caution and consider worker safety when driving in and around construction zones.
