Guilford Courthouse National Military Park’s Mission Statement

To interpret and commemorate the significance of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in the American Revolution through the preservation and protection of the battlefield and the important monuments and graves that commemorate and memorialize key persons and events associated with the battle and the United States' struggle for independence.

Guilford Courthouse National Military Park’s Purpose

To preserve for historical and professional military study as well as the benefit, education, and inspiration of the public, the battlefield and the accounts of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse during the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution.
