Fire Island National Seashore hires a limited number of temporary employees each year, and refills vacant permanent positions as workload and funding permits. Several summer seasonal positions are advertised from late January through early spring. Please see below for current openings at Fire Island National Seashore.

Internships at Fire Island

There are also opportunities to work at Fire Island through the Student Conservation Association internship program. Fire Island National Seashore fills wildlife management and general biology intern positions in the spring, and early and late summer.
