Shark Valley is your northern gateway to explore sawgrass prairies, tree islands and wildlife in the heart of the Everglades. Watch this video to get a new perspective on the "River of Grass" and learn about multiple ways to explore Shark Valley! Shark Valley is located on the Tamiami Trail/Highway 41, about 24 miles west of the Florida Turnpike (exit 25).

Do you want to quickly discover some of South Florida's most stunning wildlife? This video talks about an area that is only 15 miles from the southern end of Miami. Royal Palm is a great place to view wild birds, fish, and reptiles like alligators up close. Royal Palm has two fully accessible trails that wander through different habitats.
