Chekika closes for wet season 2009

Everglades National Park will close the Chekika area of the park as of Friday May 1, 2009.  The Chekika entrance is only open seasonally (December 1 through April 30) due to flooding during the wet season and will reopen December 1 2009.  If there are any questions please contact our main office at 305-242-7700 or check our website for current park information at nps.gov/ever.
