Every 5 years the park conducts an in depth study through surveys to better understand who our typical visitor is.
All National Park Service Units report their annual visitation for inclusion in national statistics. These can be retrieved as either annual numbers or a variety of other formats.

A pair of endangered wood storks need about 440 pounds of fish during a breeding season to feed themselves and their young. Everglades National Park serves as an important nursery ground for raising their chicks.
