Seashore Programs for March and Visitor Center Opening Dates

Harkers Island, NC -- Superintendent Russel J. Wilson announced the opening of visitor facilities at Cape Lookout National Seashore:
- The Light Station Visitor Center and Keepers’ Quarters Museum at the Cape Lookout Lighthouse will open on Thursday, March 26.
- Portsmouth Village, Great Island Camps, and Long Point Camps will open on Monday, March 30.
Volunteers will present lighthouse talks daily at 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM on the porch of the Keepers’ Quarters next to the lighthouse.
Walking tours of Historic Portsmouth Village will be led by volunteers at 10:30 AM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays beginning on Memorial Day and ending on Labor Day. Tours begin at the ferry landing.
