Harkers Island, North Carolina.  Cape Lookout National Seashore presents a special exhibition of Cape Lookout art at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum & Heritage Center on Harkers Island, from Sunday, January 11 through Sunday, January 25.

Featured artists are Bob Blevins of Elizabethton, Tennessee, and Jim Stagner of Johnson City, Tennessee.  Both men are Cape Lookout National Seashore official artists.  They have spent several years as park volunteers capturing various places at the Seashore in original watercolors.  Their creations are used to enhance the visitor and office areas at park headquarters.

Both Mr. Blevins and Mr. Stagner have been honored as “Volunteers of the Year” at Cape Lookout National Seashore.  The public is invited to enjoy their work during this special showing.
