PANTHER JUNCTION VISITOR CENTER TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Panther Junction Visitor Center will be closed Tuesday May 28 and Wednesday May 29 for needed maintenance. Information, backcountry permits, and entrance fee payments can be taken care of at the Chisos Basin Visitor Center.

The National Park Service makes every effort to keep the public informed about news events and special and re-occurring events which occur within and around the units of the Park Service. Big Bend National Park publishes the Paisano, the official visitor guide which provides visit planning information and contains articles on various resource-related topics. Big Bend also provides news releases to local and regional newspapers; current and past news releases that can also be found here on the park web site.
