The National Park Service (NPS) is holding a listening session on short-term transportation management actions for the Schoodic District of Acadia National Park on Thursday, August 27, from 6:30 to 8 pm at Hammond Hall (427 Main St.) in Winter Harbor.

The public is invited to join us for a brief presentation and open discussion about how the NPS can best manage transportation at Schoodic while protecting park resources and values. We welcome your input on potential traffic and parking concerns and other issues relating to transportation with the opening of the Schoodic Woods campground on September 1.The listening session will supplement the feedback we received at the public meetings held earlier this summer on the long-term transportation plan for Acadia National Park.

For more information about the listening session, please contact John Kelly, Management Specialist, at 207-288-8703 or john_t_kelly@nps.gov.
