Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve Visitor Center Hours for Summer 2025

COPPER CENTER, ALASKA – Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve has announced the visitor center hours for the 2025 season. Like prior years, the planned opening dates, closing dates, and hours are:

      Wrangell-St. Elias Visitor Center, Copper Center
      May 12 – September 14, daily, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

      Kennecott Visitor Center
      May 24 – September 5, daily, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., closed for lunch

      Slana Ranger Station
      May 24 – September 21, daily, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., closed for lunch

      Chitina Ranger Station
      May 24 – August 30, limited hours, staffing dependent
