Seneca Falls, New York will play host to a special homeschool field trip day on October 1, 2025. Women’s Rights National Historical Park, the Seneca Falls Historical Society, and the National Women’s Hall of Fame, are collaborating on a series of educational programs geared toward homeschool students.
The program, designed for ages 8-12, will feature tours of each site, and interactive activities with site staff. At Women’s Rights NHP, students will hear the story of the first women’s rights convention and explore the historic Wesleyan Chapel. At the Seneca Falls Historical Society, students will experience what life was like in the 1890's with a tour of the historic mansion. At the National Women's Hall of Fame, students will learn about the Hall’s 312 inductees and discuss their long-lasting impacts.
Women’s Rights’ Education Specialist Molly Jessup is enthusiastic about the new opportunity, saying “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Seneca Falls Historical Society and the National Women’s Hall of Fame to share the rich history of Seneca Falls in this new program. We hope it will be the first of many Homeschool Days!”
Registration for the event will open on September 1. Interested families must register via Google Form link: https://tinyurl.com/2k46res4. Space is limited, and registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
For questions, contact Nellie Ludemann at the National Women’s Hall of Fame, (315) 325-2259.
