WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman Mission National Historic Site will switch to its winter hours on October 29th, 2023. Under this schedule, the Visitor Center will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The park’s picnic area, trails, and grounds continue to be open daily, sunrise to sunset.
Park rangers will continue to offer a variety of formal interpretive programs throughout the fall. Formal ranger programs will be offered on select days at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Programs are free to the public and no reservations are required to attend.
