WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman Mission National Historic Site will begin its winter hours on Sunday, September 11th, 2022. Under these winter hours, the Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Visitor Center will be closed on Sunday and Monday. The park’s picnic area, trails, and grounds continue to be open daily sunrise to sunset.
While the Visitor Center is open on Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., visitors can explore the museum exhibits, watch the 25-minute park film, explore items for sale, and talk with a park ranger. Visitors can also watch the 25-minute park film on our website at https://go.nps.gov/whmi/film.
