WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman Mission National Historic Site will host a film screening of the documentary “Covenant of the Salmon People” on Saturday, January 20 at 1:00 p.m. The event is free to the public and no reservations are required.

“Covenant of the Salmon People” is a 60-minute portrait of the Nez Perce Tribe’s sacred relationship with the Chinook salmon and the challenges that they face in maintaining the salmon populations. The screening will be followed by a question and answer session.
