WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman Mission National Historic Site will host cultural resource educator Tom Bailor for a fiber arts demonstration on November 11th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
Tom Bailor will give a program on tule, a native water reed used by Native Peoples of the Columbia Plateau and provide a hands-on demonstration in which participants can create a tule duck. This demonstration will take place at the Whitman Mission Visitor Center and is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
Tom Bailor is a cultural resource educator with a background in archeology and education. He specializes in field and experimental archeological education.
