Octopus

STATION I: Good for you!  You swam slowly, and didn't scare away the Reef Octopus (Octopus briareus.)  It's trying to make itself look as large as possible, hoping to scare US so we'll swim away and not bother it. 

Perhaps it's trying to make its color pattern look scarey, too.  The octopus family can change its pattern to match either its mood or its surroundings.
