The highlight of a visit to the park is a tour of the Vanderbilt Mansion. You must purchase a ticket to tour the mansion. Visit our Things to Do page for more information on mansion tour schedules and ticket fees.
There is no admission fee to enter the park and enjoy the grounds, gardens, and nature trails.

Bard Rock Access
Bard Rock is open to pedestrians during normal park hours, but vehicle access is limited. The gate at Bard Rock Road and Bard Rock Parking Lot are closed to vehicle traffic on weekends, holidays, and during the winter and early spring. For safety reasons, the Bard Rock gate may be additionally closed during times of high visitation to prevent traffic congestion.

Bard Rock is open to pedestrians daily during the park's operating hours. Vehicle access is limited during times of high visitation or inclement weather for public safety. Typically, Bard Rock vehicle access is not available on weekends, holidays, and during winter.
