Certain activities that are not part of the park's normal operation may require a Special Use Permit. Filming activities that involve more than five people and hand-carried equipment need to be evaluated to determing if the proposed activity may cause issues with public safety, environment or scenic values, damage to natural or cultural resources, conflict with other visitors, or prevent equitable use and acces to park areas. Entrance into the site is free. Visits inside the Main House are also free. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended for groups of 10 or more. Call (314) 842-1867 ext. 229 to make group reservations, as well as for additional information and specific details about group program offerings. Most groups should budget around 90 minutes for their site visit.
