Apparitions of the Ice Age: Paleo-Art Exhibit

Decades of research and investigation have uncovered a compelling and detailed story about change, extinction, and survival at Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument in Las Vegas, Nevada. These stories come to life through paintings that represent four snapshots in time over the last 100,000 years. Discover the science and collaboration behind our understanding of Ice Age Las Vegas and our changing environment. This exhibit is available at no cost to the borrowing institution. Tule Springs Fossil Beds Paleontology & Geology Traveling Exhibit

This free-standing exhibit kiosk features interpretive information about the geology, paleontology, and history of scientific expeditions at Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument, Nevada. The exhibit features text, photographs, and real Ice Age (Pleistocene) fossils collected from Tule Springs Fossil Beds in Las Vegas, NV, including a Columbian mammoth tusk and a camel jaw.
