This small site commemorates the battle of Tupelo and the individuals who lost their lives in the battle.

Tupelo National Battlefield Site is a one-acre commemorative site located along Main Street in Tupelo, Mississippi. The battlefield site is open from sunrise to sunset every day. There are no visitor facilities at the battlefield; you may consider visiting the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center located along the Parkway at Milepost 266 near the intersection of Highway 145 (Gloster St.) and the Parkway. The Visitor Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Central Time) every day except December 25. The Visitor Center has literature and information about the battle.
