Visit The Sculptor's Studio
Visit the the Sculptor's Studio and listen to a 15-minute ranger talk about Gutzon Borglum, the carving process and the lives of the workers. View the original plaster scale model used in the creation of Mount Rushmore.
The Sculptor's Studio is wheelchair accessible. Accessible restrooms and drinking fountain are available on the lower level of the studio via an elevator.
Parking is available outside the Sculptor's Studio for those unable to access the Sculptor's Studio using the Presidential Trail. Please talk to a park ranger at an information desk to make arrangements for access to the studio parking area.
Service dogs, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, are permitted to accompany visitors with disabilities inside the Sculptor's Studio.
