Los Alamos: Become a Junior Ranger

Hey kids! Have you ever wanted to become a park ranger? With our Los Alamos Junior Ranger program, you can learn all about the Manhattan Project and earn your official junior ranger badge or patch and certificate while you’re at it!
To become a junior ranger, pick up the junior ranger book at the Los Alamos Visitor Center or download it from our website. Inside you will find several fun activities that describe the role of Los Alamos during the Manhattan Project.
Once you complete the required number of activities, turn in the book at the visitor center to be sworn in as an official junior ranger. If you do not have time to complete the book while you are in town or you downloaded it from our website, you may mail your completed book to:
