Things to Do

Visit three "secret" communities

The Manhattan Project National Historical Park is not a traditional park where you drive through an entrance gate into the park. Instead, you drive into the three main communities of the top-secret Manhattan Project: Hanford, Washington; Los Alamos, New Mexico; and Oak Ridge, Tennessee. We have a visitor center in each location. We also work with the communities to provide a variety of places that together, tell the story of the Manhattan Project. Explore our website and take advantage of our mobile app, which helps you find visitor centers, museums, historic sites, guided tours and so much more.
