Locomotive Ranger Program

Jupiter and 119 Locomotive Demonstration
Locomotive Ranger Programs are given throughout the summer starting May 1st and ending by mid-October. The locomotives undergo periodic maintenance during the summer, please refer to our Boiler Wash Schedule to see if one of the locomotives will not be available to the public.
Daily Run Schedule:
- 10:00 AM Arrival of the Jupiter
- 10:30 AM Arrival of the No.119
- 1:00 PM Demonstration run with both locomotives
- 3:55 PM Departure of the No.119
- 4:30 PM Departure of the Jupiter

Each ranger led locomotive demonstration and program lasts from 20 to 45 minutes.

Witness the sites, sounds, and smells of two authentic replica steam locomotives that were part of the seminal event which changed America and ushered in a new era.

Pets Allowed
Yes
Pets are allowed at the Last Spike Site and on park trails. All pets must be on a leash and visitors are required to clean up after their pets.

Locomotive Demonstrations and Ranger Programs begin at 10:00 am with the arrival of the Jupiter. The last program is at 4:30 pm with the departure of the Jupiter.
