Take a boat one mile from the Rainy Lake Visitor Center and hike this trail through northern pines, deciduous trees, and across rock ridges to a scenic active beaver pond.

The Black Bay Beaver Pond Trail is located on the Kabetogama peninsula northeast of the Rainy Lake Visitor Center. It requires a boat to access, and there is a dock for day use.

Take a boat one mile from the Rainy Lake Visitor Center and starting the hike after you get off the dock. Follow hiking trail markers, crossing ski trails and hiking over rock ridges until you reach the beaver pond overlook.
