Hanford: Join a Ranger Program

Hanford ranger programs are a great way to learn about the Manhattan Project.

Park staff at the Hanford unit in Richland, Washington, offer a variety of programs for the whole family to enjoy! Programs include historic walks, bike rides, hikes, and behind-the scenes guided tours of Manhattan Project facilities. 

Summer programs include Junior Ranger Park Explorers and Junior Ranger Park Pop-Ups, two ranger series for junior rangers and their families. These programs are at local parks and provide fun activities for kids ages 4-13.

In the spring and fall, Ride with a Ranger and Hike Through Time are offered in partnership with other local organizations.
