Do you care about exploring, learning about, and protecting the Fort Smith If yes, become a Junior Ranger! This fun activity book is a great place to start. Kids (all ages) can become Junior Park Rangers at the Fort Smith National Historic Site!

This booklet includes activities like mazes, crosswords, drawings, and more to help you learn about Fort Smith National Historic Site. Discover all the park has to offer while learning about soldiers, Native Americans, deputy marshals, Judge Parker, and more.
 

Become a Junior Ranger

Junior ranger Activity books are waiting for you at the infromation desk in the Visitor Center. To recieve a digital copy contact the park via email or call (479)783-3961.

To earn a badge: 

  • Complete all the fun-filled activities in the Junior Ranger book. 
  • Return your completed book to a ranger at the visitor center desk,
  • Take the Junior Ranger pledge.


Don't have enough time to finish the book while you are in the park? No problem! Send your book back to the park when you complete it. A ranger will check your work and mail the book back to you with a badge and signed certificate.
