Every Kid Outdoors
In the fall, park rangers visit the classroom to meet your students. Every Kid Outdoors introduces students to national parks. Each fourth grader gets an Every Kid Outdoors pass. The pass gives them and their family free access to hundreds of parks, lands, and waters for an entire year.

Rangers Return to the Classroom
In the winter, park rangers return to the classroom. Students learn more about Cedar Creek & Belle Grove NHP to prepare for a field trip in the spring. Teachers can choose from presentations like Explore Your Park!, Be a Historian!, or other ranger-led guest speaker talks.

Field Trip to Belle Grove
In the spring, students visit Cedar Creek & Belle Grove NHP. Teachers can schedule Discover Your Past, a field trip to Belle Grove Plantation. Staff and volunteers lead tours of the 1797 Manor House and the plantation property, while national park rangers offer an outdoor history activity.

Financial Aid for Field Trips
Title I elementary schools that participate in Learn, Grow, & Go may be eligible for financial aid supported by the National Park Foundation (NPF). The NPF's Open Outdoors for Kids grant helps cover the transportation and admission costs of a field trip to Belle Grove Plantation.
