1. Visit nps.gov to find a park where you want to work. Send an email or call to inquire if the park sponsors a Youth Conservation Corps program. Please inquire early because most participating parks may have an application deadline of April 15th or earlier. If you need help finding a national park with a YCC program, you may also contact the Youth Program Coordinator for your state.
2. Complete an application. Mail it directly to the parks where you are interested in working.
3. Applicants are selected without regard to civil service or classification laws, rules or regulations. The selection process is conducted in a public forum by a random method.
