One of the top 10 most-visited national parks in the United States, Acadia National Park protects a cluster of islands and a portion of mainland on the Atlantic Coastline of Maine. Comprised of nearly 50,000 acres, the park is home to the tallest mountains on the eastern seaboard and is rich in wildlife and culture. Visitors enjoy 33 miles of historic motor roads, 158 miles of hiking trails, and 45 miles of carriage roads as they explore within the park.
