America250 is the bipartisan initiative established by Congress to engage Americans in the 250th anniversary. It includes initiatives to engage communities at the local, state, and national levels. The National Park Service will continue to support America250 initiatives. Partners, cooperating associations, concessioners, and lessees may use America250 branding and continue to sell licensed America250 products.
The partner entity will need to obtain their own non-retail sublicense from Freedom 250 to use this logo with appropriate authorization.
Yes, both America250 and Freedom 250 licensed products can be carried in stores.
Yes. All Freedom 250 and America250 wordmarks, logos, and designs are protected intellectual property. Approval is required through the appropriate cooperating association or park concessions program before producing or selling merchandise. You also may choose to purchase from a wholesale site instead of acquiring your own license.
A licensing agreement is required if you plan to:
- Create custom or co-branded merchandise
- Use Freedom 250 or America250 logos, wordmarks, or design elements on products

Royalties generated under an approved Freedom 250 licensing agreement will support the commemoration of America's 250th birthday as well as the stewardship of America's national parks.
