Roaring Branch Research Natural Area
Roaring Branch Research Natural Area includes a steep ravine with a virgin mesophytic forest representing a relict outlier of forests characteristic of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. The site also supports plant species that are rare in the Ouachita Mountains.
