Goose Creek State Park Natural Area
Goose Creek State Park Natural Area is an excellent example of a gently sloping mainland undergoing rapid ocean transgression. The site contains several diverse ecological communities including: brackish creeks and marshes, marsh transition areas, river swamp forest, and pine forest.
