Big Hammock Natural Area

Big Hammock Natural Area contains a great diversity of ecosystem types with an associated diversity of species. Of prime importance is the relatively undisturbed broadleaf evergreen hammock forest, which covers most of the tract and includes certain rare and endangered species, most notably the largest known population of Georgia plume.
