The National Park Service (NPS) issues a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) concerning the re-use of the Sisson House at San Antonio Missions National Historic Park through a lease with the National Park Service. This RFEI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future.

San Antonio National Historical Park protects, preserves, restores, and interprets four Spanish Colonial missions and their cultural landscape features, established along the upper San Antonio River. The NPS is open to ideas of what the historic building could be used for under a lease, as long as it supports the purpose and mission of San Antonio Missions National Historic Park. The RFEI describes prohibited uses. NPS is seeking both short- and long-term lease options. A long term lease could qualify for a preservation tax credit. More information is available at the Texas Historical Commission website.

The NPS asks interested parties to provide expressions of interest regarding the re-use of the Sisson House no later than July 11, 2018, via email to Jennifer Parker, Chief of Concessions, Intermountain Region.
