Sitka National Historical Park Offers Limited Services Starting July 4, 2020

Sitka National Historical Park (June 29, 2020)will begin it's first phase of re-opening to the public on the 4th of July! The park plans to open the Totem Hall portion of the Visitor Center this Saturday and Sunday, July 4 and July 5. Hours of operation will be noon to 4pm.
Starting July 10th, Totem Hall will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday noon-4pm every week. Outdoor, Ranger-led programs will be offered at noon and 2:30pm on the same days Totem Hall is open.
Programs will last approximately 30 minutes.
Visitors are asked to observe 6 feet of physical distancing from others when attending outdoor programs, and to wear a face covering or mask when entering Totem Hall.
The current status of other Sitka National Historical Park facilities are as follows:
Park Trails: Open Daily (6am-10pm)
Outside Toilet (between bridge and East parking lot): Starting July 4: Open Daily (6am-10pm)
Visitor Center Restrooms (Single Occupancy only): Starting July 4: Open Friday-Sunday, Noon to 4 pm
Visitor Center, Exhibits, Theater and Cultural Center: Closed
Russian Bishop’s House: Closed
Park Film (“Voices of Sitka”): Will not be shown on location, but will soon be available on our website.
