This regiment was engaged northwest of Jones field at 8
a.m., April 7, 1862. It then supported the left of the
division until about noon, when it returned to the extreme
right of the army and was engaged here from 2 to 3 p.m. It
had present for duty, officers and men, 491.
Its loss was 1 man killed; 1 officer and 18 men wounded;
total, 20.
