SAVE THE DATE! The 2023 Salem Merry-time Fest will be held on Saturday, August 19th starting at noon. Stay tuned for many more details yet to come.

In 2020 - 2022 the Salem Maritime Festival was not held.

Following guidance from the CDC and recommendations from state and local public health authorities in consultation with NPS Public Health Service officers, the Salem Maritime Festival is cancelled. Updates will be posted here and on social media.

Free Sails by Lottery
Saturday: Three sails with Schooner Ardelle and one sail with When and If.
Ardelle: 11:30AM, 1:15 PM, 3:00PM
When and If: 1:30PM (Returns to Blaney Street)

Sunday: Two sails with Schooner Fame and two sails with When and If.
Fame: 11:30AM, 1:15PM
When and If: 12:45PM, 2:30PM (Last sail returns to Blaney Street)

Visiting Vessels
Tall Ship - Kalmar Nyckel - Dockside attraction all day Saturday and until approximately noon on Sunday.
Viking Ship - Polaris - Dockside attraction all day Saturday and Sunday.
