Important notice on space-use restrictions:
For any questions regarding specific dates or to check if your requested location will be impacted, please reach out to the Permit Office. Host your memorable occasion on the picturesque, historic grounds overlooking Mount Ascutney. Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park can accommodate after hours events, gatherings, and ceremonies (no receptions) for up to 300 guests. Small Group Exception: Events with up to five people (including photographers, officiants, or service providers) may not require a lease. Please contact the Permit Office for a full list of rules and regulations. Venue LocationsThere are five venue locations available for short-term lease at Saint-Gaudens. Each offers a distinct atmosphere and historic character. Multiple venues will not be booked on the same date unless they are leased by the same group.See Event Venues Site Map for a view of all event venues at a glance.
NPS Photo Pergola of the Little StudioThe Pergola is a covered outdoor space attached to the historic Little Studio. Set on a raised terrace, the building is located northwest of the Aspet Main House.
NPS Photo Bowling GreenAn elegant outdoor lawn space enclosed by white pine and hemlock hedges and featuring the prominent Shaw 54th Memorial.
NPS Photo Lower Field Near the TempleThe lower field adjacent to the Temple offers a serene outdoor setting located deeper within the park, requiring a short walk from the Visitor Center. Surrounded by woodlands to the west and north, the meadow features a mix of grasses and forbs. The field is located close to overflow visitor parking.
Freeman Formal GardensThe Formal Gardens are located directly outside the Aspet Main House. The gardens extend north from the house toward the Little Studio. Features include brick walkways, marble steps, a marble pool with a bubbler, a semicircular zodiac bench, Brick Garden Steps connect the upper terrace to the middle terrace, enriching the landscape, and the Pan Grove-Pool and Fountain.
