The 2024 annual World Heritage Annual Accomplishment Report celebrates the achievements of the World Heritage Management Group of San Antonio Missions World Heritage Site, the only United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in Texas.

The World Heritage Management Group includes the National Park Service, the Archdiocese of San Antonio, San Antonio River Authority, the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, and The Alamo. Additionally, there are primary partners dedicated to helping achieve World Heritage goals: Mission Heritage Partners, Visit San Antonio, The San Antonio Conservation Society, Las Misiones, and El Camino de San Antonio Missions. Together this group is committed to protecting the site’s natural and cultural resources while interpreting the missions' history to reflect their Outstanding Universal Value. Accomplishments include enhancing visitor wayfinding, increasing visitor capacity and experiences, pursuing innovative funding for preservation efforts, promoting academic research, and raising awareness of the site both locally and globally.

San Antonio Missions is a chain of five Spanish colonial mission complexes. Located along an eight mile stretch of the San Antonio River, the missions, with their supporting irrigation systems, workshops, farms, and ranches, grew into self-sustaining communities that became the foundation of San Antonio. Today, four of the mission churches continue to serve as active Catholic parishes.

San Antonio Missions is one of 26 World Heritage sites in the United States, 19 of which are managed by the National Park Service, designated as having Outstanding Universal Value to humanity.
