"Jose Domingo Bustillos was 22, Euphemia was 15 when they got married." "She wore these earrings when she married here [at Mission San José]. So, my grandmother, never having a daughter, she only had a son... So at every function or special occasion, I wear these earrings to honor her. When I was a little girl I was on TV for these things, in front of the Rose window." |
