Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of areas at the park.

Volunteers-in-Parks (VIPs) are public-spirited people of all ages, walks of life, and educational backgrounds. Though they are individually different, they share a common interest – a love of national parks, willingness to donate their time and energy, and a desire to impart their enthusiasm and knowledge to others.

VIPs supplement the efforts of full-time employees. Some volunteer positions may include conducting wildlife and plant surveys, leading guided tours, performing clerical duties, or maintaining park facilities.

If you have any further questions regarding San Antonio Missions National Historical Park volunteer program, please contact the Park Volunteer Coordinator.
