Astronomy in the Park:
Observe the night sky with the help of a park ranger and expert volunteer astronomers. Dress warmly and remember to bring a flashlight! These events start with a thirty minute program at dusk followed by multiple telescope viewings.
Meet at Upper Beaver Meadows Trailhead. Parking will be limited. All times listed below are in Mountain Time. All night sky programs are weather permitting, on the day of, please check at park visitor centers for the latest program information.

Stories Behind the Moon & Stars:
The night sky comes alive through storytelling and fun activities in this family friendly program. Celebrate darkness at Rocky! Dress warmly. Bring binoculars and a flashlight.
Meet at Moraine Park Discovery Center for this 1-1.5 hour program. Parking will be limited. All night sky programs are weather permitting, on the day of, please check at park visitor centers for the latest program information.
