A variety of volunteer opportunities are offered through the Continental Divide Research Learning Center: citizen science, research assistance, photography, computer and database work, article and website editing, and maintenance work at McGraw Ranch.

- Summer and winter caretakers at McGraw Ranch play an important role in the preservation of this historic site.
