The following road closures will affect touring around Richmond National Battlefield Park until further notice. Please check back often for updates and/or additions to this list. 1. Willis Church Road is closed for repairs between the Glendale Visitor Center and the Malvern Hill battlefield. Follow the detour signs from White Oak Swamp to Malvern Hill and vice versa. 2. Fort Brady, part of the network of forts in Varina, is closed due to trail work. 3. VDOT has closed the intersection of Lee Davis Road and Cold Harbor Road to redo the traffic light and turn lanes. Construction is expected until July, 2011. Traffic is being rerouted via Creighton Road. The construction will affect park tour road traffic from Beaver Dam Creek to the Cold Harbor unit and vice versa. |
