Rangers reveal characters and stories in this introduction to Skagway's early days. Explore the heart of the National Historic District with 2-3 stops outside colorful, gold rush buildings. All tours end at the Moore Homestead Museum for a free look inside a restored frontier family home.
This is a 45 minute ranger-led tour that covers four blocks of Skagway's Historic District. Tours are mostly outdoors so come dressed to be outside in wind, rain, or sun. Tours are limited to 30 participants per tour so make sure to pick up a free ticket to reserve your spot.
Tickets are given out on the day of the walk only and on a first-come, first-served basis. Select tours can be reserved in advance. > Tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are welcome.- Learn more about the Skagway Historic District
