    Join the National Park Service for a campfire, guided night hike, and live owl programs presented on the upper deck of the Center’s Lodge. Enjoy the cold winter air as you roast marshmallows over an open fire and walk along a forest trail enjoying the nocturnal sights and sounds. Discover new facts about the wildlife of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits. There will be two live owl programs on the upper deck presented by a Chattahoochee Nature Center Naturalist. Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Journal with wildlife lists and paw prints. Enjoy the campfire, the owls, and the night time beauty of the Chattahoochee.

    Dress for the weather; wear warm, comfortable outdoor clothes in layers and shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Don't forget your graham crackers, chocolate bars, and flashlight!
