Join National Park Service Naturalist Jerry Hightower for a campfire, guided hike, and a beautiful mid-summer evening with the glowing stars overhead. Roast marshmallows over an open fire, have a cup of lemonade, and walk along a forest trail. Enjoy interesting, interactive programs on the upper deck. Discover new facts about the wildlife of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits. Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Naturalist Journal with wildlife lists and paw prints. Enjoy the summer night, campfire, stars, and the nocturnal sights and sounds of the Chattahoochee.
Dress for the weather; wear comfortable outdoor clothes and hiking shoes. Don't forget your drinking water, insect repellent, and a flashlight.
