Celebrate 100 years of Brotherhood this year at Pullman National Historical Park

Earlier this month, the National Railroad Hall of Fame inducted A. Philip Randolph for his groundbreaking work with the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters.

This May we proudly accepted this award on his behalf and placed it on display at our Visitor Center. You can find it alongside a special temporary exhibit in our carriageway that places a spotlight on the porters in honor of the the 100th anniversary of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters.

This exhibit will remain open through August 25, 2026, when the centennial officially concludes. We invite you to visit and explore this powerful chapter of American history.

Keep an eye on our website and social media for more information on how we're honoring the Brotherhood's labor struggle.
